You won the job—now what? This session covers post-award client management strategies including contract handoff, tracking client information, managing expectations, handling damage control, and maintaining strong relationships even when operations is overwhelmed.

Winning a contract is only the beginning. The real test comes after selection—when expectations are high, operations is stretched, and the client relationship is officially “in motion.”

This session will focus on what happens after the win and how BD professionals can help ensure a smooth transition from pursuit to project execution. We’ll discuss practical strategies for managing client expectations, strengthening trust, navigating evolving scopes and service offerings, and supporting internal teams without overwhelming them. We will discuss how to continue to position yourself for the next project while doing their current projects.

Topics will include:

  • Best practices for service contract management, tracking and sharing client intelligence.
  • Handling damage control when delivery misses the mark, and managing common owner perceptions like “you’re too busy” or “you don’t have the bandwidth.”
  • Attendees will walk away with tools and talking points to protect relationships, maintain visibility, and turn wins into long-term partnerships.

DRINKS AND LIGHT APPETIZERS ARE INCLUDED!
