Dear SMPS Tampa Bay Members,
March is here, and with it comes new opportunities to learn, connect, and grow! Your energy and commitment continue to make our chapter stronger, and February was a testament to that - with engaging events that inspired professional development and meaningful connections. Let’s keep the momentum going and make March even more impactful!
February Highlights: Building Connections & Elevating Expertise:
February 20th Coffee & Connections at Graze (South Tampa)
Our February Coffee & Connections at Graze in South Tampa brought together over 30 marketers for a morning of networking, collaboration, and insightful conversations. It was inspiring to see so many professionals come together to strengthen our AEC marketing community.

February 26th - The ABCs of Public Relations Workshop
We kicked off our Boot Camp Series on February 26th with The ABCs of Public Relations: Where to Start and How to Deliver. Hosted at Burgess & Niple, this interactive workshop provided marketing professionals with essential PR strategies to enhance visibility, build strong media relationships, and effectively communicate their firm’s brand and expertise.
A huge thank you to our speaker, Kaitlyn Perez, Founder and President of KPC Strategies, for sharing her insights and expertise! We also appreciate our engaged attendees for making this event a great success.

March 13th - Board Meeting (Virtual)

March 20th - Coffee & Connections
· Start your morning with meaningful conversations and new connections! We have two locations to accommodate our members:
· Tampa: 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Raining Berries, 1912 S Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33629
· St. Pete: 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Raining Berries, 1631 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33713
These casual, in-person networking opportunities are perfect for expanding your professional circle.
March 26th - Annual Transportation Program
· Join us from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Tampa Airport Marriott - Hillsborough Ballroom, Tampa International Airport, 4200 George J Bean Pkwy, Tampa, FL 33607.

The most highly ranked topics for future educational programs include:

Preferred Event Format:
A strong majority (83%) prefer a hybrid format (both in-person and virtual), allowing flexibility for participation.
Best Time for Educational Programs:
· Morning sessions (8:30 AM) and Lunchtime sessions were the most preferred times.
· After-work sessions were less favored.
Mentorship Interest:
50% of respondents expressed interest in joining our Tandem Mentorship Program as either a mentor or mentee.
