Dear SMPS Tampa Bay Members,
As we wrap up a vibrant and productive October, I’m excited to share updates on recent activities and what’s ahead in the coming months. Our End of the Year Social was a wonderful celebration of the 2023-2024 SMPS Tampa Bay board year. Thanks to your participation and support, we proudly donated $500 to Current Initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to community impact.
Current Initiatives, a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to educating and mobilizing communities as "Hope Dealers" through initiatives like the Laundry Project, Hope For Homes Project, and Affordable Christmas.
Support Nikki Alvarado and Her Family After Hurricane Milton
The recent hurricane affected many within our community, including our Board of Directors member, Nikki Alvarado, and her family. To offer meaningful support during this challenging time, we’ve created a GoFundMe page where contributions of any amount will greatly aid Nikki and her family in rebuilding. For those needing assistance, we’re also sharing a link to local contractor and subcontractor resources through TBBA.
Member Spotlight: Chaz Ross-Munro, CPSM
We’re proud to spotlight our member Chaz Ross-Munro, who recently published an insightful article in the SMPS Marketer Journal titled, "Do Integrated Marketing and Operations Systems Lead to Company-Wide Data Excellence?" Drawing from her extensive experience with CRM, ERP, and project management integrations, Chaz examines the realities of data integration and offers best practices for successful implementation.
